Vivekananda Educational & Cultural Charitable Trust was established in 1994 with a clear vision that true success finds meaning only when it benefits society. Guided by this philosophy, the Trust has steadily grown over the years and today stands as a strong educational family comprising four schools, a residential hostel, over 250 dedicated staff members, and more than 2500 students.
The Trust was officially inaugurated in 1994, marking the beginning of its journey in the field of education and social service.
Milestones and Institutions

- 1994
The Trust’s first educational initiative, Saraswathy Vidyanikethan Central School, was established at Perambra in Thrissur District. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, and Bharatheeya Vidyanikethan (BVN), the Kerala chapter of Vidya Bharati. It offers classes from Pre-KG to XII and is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution.

Sreeramakrishna Vidyanikethan Public School was started at Nandikkara in Thrissur District. The school is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi, and Bharatheeya Vidyanikethan (BVN), offering classes from Pre-KG to Standard X.

- 2003
The Trust took over Janatha Upper Primary School, Varandarapilly. It is an aided Upper Primary School with classes from Standard V to VII.

- 2006
A boy’s hostel, Swami Vivekananda Hostel, was established on the campus of Saraswathy Vidyanikethan Central School. A dedicated hostel building was constructed to accommodate students from various parts of India, providing a safe and disciplined residential environment.

- 2008
Sreesastha Trust, Thumboor, was taken over by the Trust, and the school functioning under it was renamed Harisree Vidyanikethan Public School. The school offers classes from Pre-KG to VIII.

- 2019 : An Atal Tinkering Lab was established at Saraswathy Vidyanikethan Central School, Kodakara, under the Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, Government of India, to foster innovation, creativity, and hands-on learning among students.

- 2020 : Another Atal Tinkering Lab was established at Sreeramakrishna Vidyanikethan Public School, Nandikkara.
