Saraswathy Vidyanikethan Central School was established in 1994 and is set amidst the calm and eco-friendly surroundings of Perambra, Kodakara, Thrissur District, Kerala. Managed by the Vivekananda Educational & Cultural Charitable Trust, Kodakara, the school has been rendering three decades of dedicated service in the field of education and is recognised as one of the reputed institutions in the district.

The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi (Affiliation No. 930179) and is also affiliated to Bharatheeya Vidyanikethan (BVN), the Kerala chapter of Vidya Bharati.

Founded with the noble objective of imparting quality, value-based education, the institution focuses on the intellectual, emotional, physical, spiritual, and aesthetic development of students. Over the years, the school has grown steadily with a well-maintained campus and essential facilities that support effective teaching–learning practices. Emphasis is placed on disciplined learning, cultural awareness, and character formation.

The school provides a nurturing environment for students from diverse backgrounds to grow academically and spiritually through meaningful learning experiences. Its vision is to mould socially responsible, morally strong, and spiritually aware youth capable of contributing positively to society and the nation.

At present, the school has around 1,300 students from LKG to XII, supported by a committed team of 110 teaching and non-teaching staff. Equal importance is given to scholastic and co-scholastic activities, ensuring that each child’s innate abilities are identified, nurtured, and developed. Every student is guided to grow into a confident individual and a responsible citizen.

The students of Saraswathy Vidyanikethan Central School have consistently excelled in arts and sports, earning accolades at district, state, and national levels, reflecting their dedication, discipline, and competitive spirit.

The school operates a fleet of 16 buses, providing safe and reliable transportation within a 25-kilometre radius. Student safety is accorded the highest priority, ensured by trained drivers and vigilant staff.

Future Plans

With a forward-looking vision, the school plans to further strengthen its facilities to support holistic development. The proposed initiatives include the establishment of an indoor stadium, a swimming pool, upgraded science and computer laboratories, and dedicated yoga rooms, aimed at enhancing physical fitness, experiential learning, and mental well-being.
